Fairly certain this is incorrect.

That being said, if my understanding of gardening is correct, A plant has to wither 3 times before it dies, and it wither once every 24 hours it isn't watered.

As long as maintenance is only for 24 hours, and depending on when the last time you tended them was, they would accrue a maximum of 1 or 2 withers... so you'd just have to be super diligent with them for the rest of their growth cycle.

They also posted it a week ago. You not making a note of it when it would impact your game play isn't their fault.
