People are usually referring to the way the old system doesn't translate well or easily to an entirely different games system.. Go take a look at old developer posts about why the inventory was changed to the new way it displays and why you can't change glamours outside cities for more actual technical information. The system has a lot of problems because it still holds a lot of structure from the old , very badly thought out, inventory system and reworking it involves ripping out and writing in an entirely new system and reference for items and appearances. If you want a TLDR: Far too much cost and labor for the company to even consider.

All kidding aside, everything devs do has obstacles. It goes with any job that's worth doing. It all comes down to priorities.

It would also be REALLY helpful if the glam dresser was a personal housing item. As is, I never use the inn so I have to go out of the way to use the glam dresser to "save" my equipment. And if I'm in Kugane and I run out of glamour prisms at the dresser or I need to get some dye, it's a long run to the Market Board, which is a frustrating way to handle inventory management.

And I do wish they'd give us a 3rd retainer for free, there's 3 gathering jobs for the retainers to do, so it's really awkward just having 2.

It would be nice to at least hang more ring slots. We have to wear two at all times, but they get the same amount of armory space as everything else. I can't even clear mine out at all because every single ring is in a gear set.

i have a possible solution here http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...dyable-af-gear but the gist of it is using the existing code for master of rolls giving an achievement for talking to him while wearing certain gear, showing him the dyed af gear for an achievement, which makes the gear rebuyable from the calamity salvager and therefore you can remove those from your inventory because you can rebuy as needed for glam

(primarily i want this for af3 cause screw ever having to go BACK through eureka to get dyable af3 again)

I wouldn't mind. What could be interesting is some FC chest extension.
