    Well then I still have to ask if there will be new character models in 2.0 that feature a base underwear model (a la FFXI). I wouldn't mind that one bit to save on inventory space and make underwear strictly cosmetic.

    I believe what is equipped won't take up inventory at some point in time.
    And what is the point of high level undies if it's purely cosmetic?

    I want level 50 black silk undies +1!

    Not like XI style since in XIV the models themselves are naked and the underwear has to be there for modeling purpose, in XI it was just base model that had clothes lol.

    There's a good chance it was just a quick screenshot to show off the UI with job stuff equipped.
