You know what would actually kill the game? Turning it into something other than what it is. If I wanted to play an action-combat game I would go play an action-combat game. I do not enjoy them though, and I do enjoy tab-target. I am sorry you and your friends don't like things.... but that being the case, you should go find something you do like rather than taking away something I like.

1) You're playing a boring job.
2) You're playing a boring job. The combat system is made so simulate turn-based combat somewhat. But more on the scale of 1-24 people "getting a turn" and then the enemy does. Things get a little bit faster as you get higher in level. (Personally, I'm glad it's not more "actiony," because I hate those FF games for that very reason.)
3) You're still technically in the prologue.
4) /shrug I think the game emulates life in that regard. There are some beautiful areas, and some dull areas. But even in some of the dull areas, there is some beauty in architectural/natural design.

So let me get this you are still fairly new and think the game is going to die? lol
The game has been around for around 5 years (longer if you count whatever 1.0 was) and shows no signs of dying.
One thing however that could ruin it and they have been going that route is listening to the WOW fans, we need not any of that stuff in a FF game and the toxicity.

No, trying to cater solely to the hardcore crowd (which isn't WoW) did.

People, people. No more posts into this thread. The TC has been gone for several days meaning either they've seen the wrong in their doom saying, deemed continuing this isnt worth it, or have returned to WoW where this mindset is supported. Though I would love for them to chime in on those never getting answered questions.
