healer, why our role are so easy to get the blame?

iam a little fed up yes, i just went 3 dungeon and i got blame for something i cant even do anything about it.

- bardam dungeon, drk grab first mob until the end of passage (2 giant stone tablet) -> only use unleash twice -> turn off grit -> proceed to go dps role -> aggro all over dps and me -> die -> i was blame because i didnt heal / holy =/

- gubal library, this is connected to my DF tales thread, second boss mechanic, dps didnt know what to do with tether, keep getting debuff until my heal cant keep up (mana out + debuff on 7+ stack + everyone spread out like headless chicken), die, get blame for not healing =/

- aery, nidhog, dps got trapped, warrior went full dps, dps got trapped, halfway cast bar only to realized that the other dps didnt care about it and keep dps nidhogg, other dps die, got "do your fu***** job healer" from the dps, iam sorry for trying to keep warrior alive =/

the first case could be my fault for not expecting that direction but the other? seriously, are we that easy to get the blame? thankgod iam going dancer for a while when the SDB out later.

Because tanks and healers have the most noticeable "failure requirements" of the group.

However, take this motif to heart: You can't heal stupid.

As has been said it's easy to connect "my health is at 0" and "the healer isn't doing enough". It doesn't matter if you can't physically output enough healing to cover it, a player that is bad enough to not take an objective look at the situation and take any deserved blame won't be good enough to know what others limits are.

Because you have the power to restore people's HP, and people die when they run out of HP so if they run out of HP, they automatically assume it is the healer's fault because they ran out of HP.

Nevermind that there are thousands of other factors, like people being stupid, and limitations, and other things going on.

I just always take the blame. I don’t mind getting yelled at. Especially if it moves the dungeon along.

People always bite off more than they can chew.

People need to follow mechanics and not develop tunnel vision.

From main heal to healer: Shake it off. As a heal you need to have thick fur. There will be people out there who will acknowledge your work in the group.

A) Place a waymark to show them where they need to go
B) Rescue them

A) Mark the Sable Price with Target To Attack 1
B) Rescue the other DD next to the Sable Price
C) Kill it yourself. The warrior doesn't need so much healing you can't take the time to kill the thing yourself if one of your DDs is oblivious.

Only time I get blamed is when it's a sprout who doesn't understand why there was a wipe. Yes, there have been times where I actually mucked up but I usually own up to it before anyone has the chance to say anything. X)
