    Constant 90006 Errors and Retainer Stats 0

    Since yesterday on Tonberry I have been receiving constant 90006 errors every 30 seconds to two minutes. This has made the game unplayable to me as I cannot do anything other than stand around and complain in chat briefly before being disconnected.

    I attempted to complete a duty finder dungeon as the tank however was forced to abandon the activity due to the constant disconnections. This of course meant three other people were disadvantaged and had to wait for a new tank to connect, wasting their time.

    I have also noticed that as of yesterday my second retainer now displays zero for all stats and item level. Whenever I access him I am lagged out and kicked from the game following another 90006 error.

    When I filed a report in the game I was sent what appeared to be an automated reply stating there was nothing a GM could do and to post on this forum instead. I was very disappointed by that reply.

    My internet is stable and I have even redownloaded the game since yesterday however this has not fixed the issue. Please advise how this will be fixed otherwise I will be forced not to renew my subscription.

    I myself couldn't get the 90006 errors to stop without going into the game through a VPN. Another player recommended mudfish vpn, and it worked for me too. Not a single error afterward.

    I appreciate the reply Geigerette however I don't feel I should have to rely on a third party program to allow me to play a game that I have had no issues with for years. Hopefully square Enix can shed some light on this issue and fix it within a timely manner. I only have three days left to decide if this game is worth continuing to support.

    If you do decide to go with that above mentioned VPN, it will cost you less than a dollar. I bought a $2.99 credit and it cost .87 cents of that credit to attach FFXIV to it for 30 days. I know it's a pain in the butt and it sucks we have to pay for something else just to play the game, but it actually worked or I wouldn't waste my breath to suggest you try it. I was getting back to back DC's with extreme lag-ups in dungeons, and in cities and basically everywhere else solo or partied that would result in me being kicked out of the game and back to lobby several times an hour. As for SE doing something about it? No offense to the mod who answers these posts, but his advice is to 'clear your internet explorer cache' and to make sure 'you're not on wifi' and that "these ports are opened" so I feel like nothing is getting done about it on their part my brother.
