I did have that happen that day actually. Can they come out of locked Atomos? For some reason I don't remember if those spawn enemies (probably because I was too mad that someone wasn't on a platform so I didn't see).

Oh wait, but what about the alliance that finished theirs? Nothing can spawn to kill them. So they're done and everyone else is dead, then what?

This. If things are not done correctly in there, big 'ol IGs come out to force a reset. While it still doesn't address players getting teleported to the wrong alliance, usually mentioning in alliance chat to not start the fight until enough members are present to stand on the platforms is usually all it takes. These type of things the devs rely on the players actually communicating with each other to get things done. There is no reason for them to go in and spend valuable resources that is perfectly and easily accomplished by the players.
