Old raids should drop totems that allow us to trade for drops from bosses.

I would love it if every time I did World of Darkness as a tank, I got an item called Darkness Totem - Fending. I could trade in like 3 for a head/feet/hand, and 5 for leg/body. Put this system in place for Crystal Tower, Void Ark, and when Shadowbrings drops, Ivalice. It's infuriating having to run World of Darkness as a tank dozens of times and not seeing the drop I want so badly. Putting in the token system allows players to work towards getting the glamour they want, without feeling forced to run the raid dozens of times (huge timesink). Or even easier, do what the 8 man raids do and have the final boss drop bolts/shafts/springs or something. I think it's about time this system is added to old 24-man raids, because these take 30+ minutes to run and especially if you are a healer or DPS, you are competing for others for your drop (assuming it even does drop)

Yeah running 24-mans as a tank for loot is a nightmare sometimes ("No I want to be MT! *provoke*) so managing to suffer through it enough to get a turn-in item for loot would be nice.

I 100% agree with this. Would definitely give some people more incentive to run older 24-man raids.

Well actually right now in the game I believe we are able to craft sets from using our crafters:

World of Darkness
Void Ark

These can be dyed as well so they're totally customizable. My hope is that we end up getting more for Mhach and Dun Scaith as well. Especially Dun Scaith as the Diabolic gear sets look absolutely fantastic (That healer top ahhh).

No idea if the Ivalice ones will get this treatment quicker but I def feel we should at least have a totem system for at least the Crystal Tower raids.

I think you confused the Replica Dreadwyrm gear and Replica High Allagan gear, which are dyeable replicas from Coil.

Chromite set (i320 stuff). It's a rather monochrome color swap though. If you wanted the WoD colors you're still stuck with farming WoD.

yeah the Crafted sets are bleh... and overly expensive I'd much rather farm and get the prettier colors sets.

Oh I will absolutely support this idea. I gave up on EVER getting glam loot from raids a long time ago.
