And maybe give a message saying how many Dark matters are needed to repair all?
The only reason why they haven't done that must because it has the potential to pull too much information at once.. (I think). Like it can't tell you the cost because it doesn't even know what the cost would be until you load that info.
I feel like we could have a compromise then is that it goes through the list automatically with a slight delay (simulating what they're okay with, the player going tab by tab), could even give a repair sound effect and bar lol. Like casting a spell or if anyone is familiar with crafting in WoW (in comparison to FFXIV it's hard to even call crafting hehe).
The auto-repair will not take more than 10% of your gil as a safety-net for players early in the game (highly unlikely but "just in case").
Repair all. One button press = Tink, tink (tab change), tink, tink, tink, ching (gil sound effect because its fun), "get out WoL I'm busy". Not opposed to them just making it work of course lol, just thought of a way to get around the issue I think is likely.
Honestly this would be my favorite QoL as well.
Of all of the QoL improvements they could make, this seems to get brought up a surprising amount of times. Not disagreeing but I have to ask... why do so many people see this is a big deal? Even when playing multiple jobs, keeping gear repaired takes absolutely no time or hassle in my experience. I just talk to the npc between queues. You can find them in almost any settlement in the game.
Can we also get a convert all materia at once for Mutamix.....please.
it would save me from having to leave the Inn just to repair a random ass piece of leveling gear that I wanted to convert to my glamour dresser but couldn't because it was at 98% durability. It wasnt repaired because it wasn't wearing it at the time and I didn't go through literally every single tab of repairs. It's incredibly annoying.Of all of the QoL improvements they could make, this seems to get brought up a surprising amount of times. While we're talking about QoL, I wish the varied levels of dark matter were just removed. Less items. Even if it was all the same expensive cost. I also wish they were stored in the same tab as my venture tokens (I forgot what they were called). Then I can just store up like 25,000 of them and not have to worry about them literally for the rest of my gaming career.
I know it bothers me a bit as a crafter. Say for example I'll be playing goldsmith. I notice my gear gets low--I'll repair it. And I think i'm all good. But then I change to my weaver--which literally wears ALL of the same gear EXCEPT the weapons. So I'm sometimes lulled into a false sense of security thinking all my gear is good, because all I see are blue bars. Then randomly my tool breaks and it catches me off guard every time.Of all of the QoL improvements they could make, this seems to get brought up a surprising amount of times. slight problem with that is that the grade 6 dark matter is a crafting material used in the making of "Magitek Repair Materials" - so I don't think they can just make it a "Currency" like the venture tokens etc.
White Mage ~ Scholar ~ PaladinBoi if you got kicked for the same thing in over 20 duties I strongly suggest you think hard on whatever the hell it is you're doing
As I'm sure you are well aware, it takes more than one person to be able to kick a player from a duty, so in all those instances there were at least two people agreeing they'd be better off without you tanking.
