Also @OP/agreeing with others I think this could be a really neat mini-game in the actual game, if they ever got a bestiary going it could be extra fun. Could tie the unlocks into some content reward, better farming, raising monsters/animals (like FFXI had), extra damage to open world monsters, higher drop rates on materials, etc.

On a similar note I believe they tried to get an item log made but it took too much info, which makes me super sad because I bet it could become an awesome glamour log (hopefully they reconsider and try again, perhaps account wide).

Also honestly people have been floating ideas for beastmaster as a limited job, tbh if the snap system was able to be incorporated with it that could be ridiculously fun.

If they decide to add a beast trainer, I'd like to propose an glamour set (w/hairstyle) and matching mount.
