I've had a PS4 controller paired to my PC for a few weeks when I play FFXIV but now I'm having some *really* weird issues when I run the game, and it's only something that's decided to rear its ugly head today. I've never had any issues using a controller with this game before.

I'm on the home screen where usually I'm able to hit the X button to start the game and choose my character. Now for some reason it won't let me do it. So instead I have to use the mouse and hit 'start'.

Okay, I'm now on the character selection and once again I can't select my character with the controller and once again have to use my mouse. This is strange because it's giving me controller prompts at the top of the screen such as "R - rotate camera, L - rotate background, etc" and when I hit the options button on the controller it hides the UI so I can just view my character by itself.

I've now logged into my character using the mouse. Firstly, I'm having a glitch where my camera isn't fixed behind my character for a few minutes and I'm not able to teleport anywhere but all of a sudden it kicks in and the camera snaps to my character. That's cool but *still* no luck with my controller. None of the buttons will work and I can't use the analog sticks to move or rotate camera. However now when I hit the options button on the controller it will take a screenshot and activate Raging Strikes and Barrage on my character's hotbar. Switching to M+K mode and back to controller mode on 'Character Configuration' won't fix the issue.

Seriously peeps, I don't really know what's going on. Any help would be welcome!

Thanks in advance.
