Between all the different rulesets there's really no reason to restrict the rarities in our decks at this point. A deck full of 5-star high-value cards will only net you easy wins against certain NPCs (Reverse destroys high point cards right?) while leaving you vulnerable to other rule types that are increasingly frequent. If anything I'd like them to ease up on the drop rate for certain cards or at least on the NPCs that have more than 2 rule modifiers on them.
The best thing about the Gold Saucer is that there are multiple routes to grind your MGP. If you hate TT, you can do the GATEs, or chocobo racing, or those mining machines, or I guess even Lords of Verminion. Or just do the fashion report for a year and max out your MGP that way.
Man, I miss the whole "multiple routes" thing being a huge part of their design philosophy.

Only things I don't like about TT are that NPCs will never make a mistake with the rules, and the fact they basically cheat to make games 'harder' by giving NPCs way better decks than we can ever play with in game.
I like the random card drops from dungeons though.
Please show support for chocobo boots to be added -> http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/323512-Suggestion-for-an-item-to-be-added-to-gold-saucer-Chocobo-Boots
Unhappy with how they implemented Mahjong? -> http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/381358-Mahjong-is-the-most-depressing-mini-game-you-ve-added-to-XIV

I see your point but the same thing could be said about other progression in the game. I can solo lakhsmi extreme with my level 80 gear and I can craft the perfect items with a single button.
It’s down to them to add challenging content for those of us who reached the stage where we have such a deck. It’s not like I go around playing low level triple triad people, and the difference between me and say the Eden npc, is literally that they are allowed to use all the cards and I am not. I’d still need to think to beat them.
yeah but it just be TT. nothing worth really dumping resources into for a TT savage. The open tournaments provide enough challenge to last imo.
I like collecting cards...in theory.
In practice, the drop rate is very frustrating so I just don't bother to go out of my way to pursue any.

They could change decks to 3x 3*, 1x 4* and 1x 5*.
It's not that op but still a little boost to help to beat these godlike npc's with only 4* and 5* cards.
And this way 4* would be finally useful
