I wish SE would lift the deck restriction so I can whoop future TT NPCs asses. X[

Yep, this is my problem with Triple Triad too; the deck construction rules that only the player is bound by. Inherent unfairness is no way to design a card game.
That's kinda why SWAP is my favorite ruleset. Allows me to break the stupid restrictions so long as my one 5 Star card isn't the one taken. >.> I don't see why the reward for unlocking like 70-100 cards isn't the ability to have one four star in your deck.
Its funny you say they're being dismissive, when that's kind of what you're doing to them- clearly they played it enough to know what it is about the game they don't like. Normalize accepting that not everyone likes the same things. Understanding a game mechanic doesn't mean liking it lol. They also never said that it sucks, they just dont like hwo rigged it feels against the ai players. I agree, the first ai players you play TT against make it seem like not that fun of a game. Especially when you're getting what like 13 gold or something from every loss, and the ai has insanely good cards. So Triple Triad sucks? because you don't understand the rules... how about trying learn how to play it before dismissing it...
It's like everything in life if you don't understand something there's less chance that you ain't going to like it but if you do understand it then the chances are increased that you will.
It's not too bad. Once you're a little familiar with the decks that the NPCs use, you'll quickly figure out decks to counter theirs, instead of using recommended. What's more, is you'll find that NPCs follow a fairly rigid 'strategy' which is something else you can use to your advantage
I like Triple Triad, it is essential to my Yu-Gi-Oh roleplaying. I love roleplaying as Pegasus personally, anyone wanna get sent to the Shadow Realm by me some time?![]()
I really like triple triad but the rules can be frustrating and the npcs don’t have to follow the same deck rules as we do. I really wish I could use all my five star cards.
Also the drop rate is abysmal and really off putting. I spent so much MGP on those imperial card packets before I got the five star card and then I can’t even use it because it’s inferior to my other one.
it would be fun to roflstomp npc's with an all 5 star card deck but then it would get boring pretty fast, no?

Between all the different rulesets there's really no reason to restrict the rarities in our decks at this point. A deck full of 5-star high-value cards will only net you easy wins against certain NPCs (Reverse destroys high point cards right?) while leaving you vulnerable to other rule types that are increasingly frequent. If anything I'd like them to ease up on the drop rate for certain cards or at least on the NPCs that have more than 2 rule modifiers on them.
