FF15 Event - Feedback (Event Spoilers)

Not complaining about the price. Agreed MGP is very easy to obtain. What I'm complaining about is that the event mount is locked behind something that has nothing to do with the event. I'll get it either way. I just don't like with SE cops out like this. Couldn't make the quest line that's already extremely short have like one or two more additional quests send you to another zone and maybe do another duty or two. Instead it feels like "Here's the outfit, we ran out of ideas so go farm mgp for the mount".

Well, you didn't specify and even said something about farming for Fenrir, so it hinted us that you were complaining about the MGP costs.

I agree they could have done something else to let us get the mount, though.

I was wondering if he would have it in FFXV, but I let my friend borrow my copy so I can't check it myself atm.

I thought it was very cute. I enjoyed the cutscenes with Noctis a ton, especially the campfire scenes. Great multiple choice offers throughout the entire thing as well.

In terms of the fates/trials the fate was giving my FFXI fate flashbacks at first. Thankfully it respawns fairly quick and it was fun to see everyone all bunched over in a ARR zone for it. I'm glad they did make it lvl 50/ARR story completion for this as going into the two trials I could def see someone who has handled the ARR primals being fine with this.

First trial was fairly easy but again was fun! I loved seeing Noctis figure out towers, the AI does better then some people I've seen through DF.

Second one was very cool as well! It's fun seeing the crossover on the other end and hearing XV music in the middle of it just enhanced the experience.

The rewards are fantastic, title, glamour, and getting a mount/hairstyle/TT card just sweetens the deal. I do wish it got released right around the time the XV x XIV collab happened (would have been perfect like the MH collab) but I'm happy with it.

Agreed, Cid could have a quest for you after Noct leaves, something about his people trying to duplicate the Regalia. It is mentioned that Noctis modeled some clothes in Gridania, so getting his clothes makes a little sense, at least thematically. I always prefer it when quest rewards are part of the quest, like with Hatching Tide this year you are doing the quest to get the outfit.

my only gripe is the texture for Noctis' hairstyle, it's so pixellated :/

To be honest the items and rewards was great. I was expecting a bigger story, but it was not bad at all.

My biggest problem was how we obtained the itens. The price with MGP is ok, my only problem: that is not fun at all. I was expecting that to be an option to buy with MGP in the last week of the event or something similar.

The event grind is just kill the fate 3 times to get all 6 musics. I don’t like the super crazy ones, but this was nothing at all. The first mount for 4 ppl in the game was not rewording at all to be obtained. I took more time doing the main scenario roulette than doing everything on this event.

The warp strike is surprisingly nice in FF14, far better than other movement abilities. I hope they get updated to be fast like this.
