Remodel Exterior does not work?

Hello everyone,
Our guild got it's first house yesterday and we now want to change the exterior look of the house, but no matter who tries it we simply can't change the look with the remodel exterior option, despite having all necessary parts to replace the current ones with.
We also tried deleting and rebuilding the house completely, but that had no success as well.

Our house is located in The Goblet and we want to change it to a Riviera Cottage look, that shouldn't be a problem, right? Or can you only use certain looks for certain housing locations?

I already tried to find a solution on the internet, but all I could really find was "it should work with remodel exterior" and "rebuild the house", which both don't work.

Any help in finding the error is really appreciated.

You can only use riviera parts exterior parts in the mists. You need Oasis parts for Goblet.

Try the outfitters unique exterior wall then dye it white

You can still use any of the skins that can be made in a company workshop in any district though. The only skins that are limited to their "home" districts are Riviera, Glade, Oasis and Hingan.

There are 3 exceptions to what everyone else has said in regards to the exterior fixtures. The exterior wall decoration, roof decoration and placard are not restricted by district.
