FF15 Event -- "Monolith Warp" Mechanic is still broken

If Warp Strike is like any other movement action, the game only updates your position after the action resolves and you're able to start moving again, so you need to time it so you exit the AoE a fair bit of time before the cast resolves.

When the AoEs start being combined with the vacuum, don't spam it and just wait until the cast is maybe 4/5ths done to warp out.

If it works the same as regular Garuda battles, it doesn't matter where you are. It only matters how many rocks are left.

The rocks in this fight are indestructible and serve only as targets for the duty action.

I think you're dealing with bad latency. I hid behind the same rock as Noctis and while it almost killed me, I survived.

You don't need to hide behind anything. Just get out of the AOE.
You can warp strike, or just like, run.

Took me 2 attempts to beat it.

First attempt I couldn't move at all, because she kept giving me the succ every time I tried to warp.

Second attempt I just stood still doing nothing until the last ~10% of her cast bar and then warped to the stone that Noctis was playing with and it was fine.

Ended up almost failing because Notcis nearly died by the end of it though... #BluSoOP

Honestly, I couldn't figure it out. I got the Echo after 3 attempts or so (for those who barely survived it after a few tries, that's why) and downed it easily from there with a Second Wind and Bloodbath.

Sort of wish I didn't get Echo and could down it properly My theories would be either:

-Warp just before the cast bar finishes
-Opposite pillar of Noctis as mentioned

I clicked off the Echo buff every time. The timing's finicky, but you don't need the extra HP to barely survive.

My only question is: "does SE employ beta testers at all for these things? Or do they spend the $30,000 - $50,000 of beta-tester salary on Dalmascan silk-woven bespoke suits instead, and have us paying subscribers do the beta-testing for them?"

lol what? I just cleared it without any effort at all, just paying attention to mechanics and reading the on screen text. There is no RNG at all, unless you've got terrible lag, then there isn't much SE can do about that.

i did the fight as brd and the npc just keep losing health and dieing about halfway thru the fight so after 5 tries i changed to whm it gave me better defence/magic defence and allowed me to heal my self and the npc we never got below 50% and won the fight.
