Raise in combat only for WHM is the correct path. Play better, dont die, and just raise if something go bad..
Out of combat u can raise just channging to CON/WHM.

wait are you complaining that you will have access to invigorate and keen flurry?
PS: Lifesurge is unique to LNC/DRG so no you wont be using it on PGL/MNK same with sleep being unique to CNJ.

PLD, WHM and BRD can Raise. WHM can Chainspell it. If you end up needing more raises than that, you deserve the wipe.
OR you can have your mates spend lots of seals on those potions from the GCs that revive.

No thanks.
If we're having to have classes mixed with jobs in our parties, something somewhere needs a fix.
I'll consider mixing classes with jobs to be training wheels for the transition at best. Never something expected to be done.
You can shun legitimate strategy if you like, I'll use whatever strat works.
It's against the design philosophy.
Of course you can use w/e you like. This is a case of "Don't hate the player, hate the game."
Regardless, with what we know already I can't think of a fight where I wouldn't rather use all jobs anyway.
The design philosophy of jobs being for full parties and classes for solo and light parties.
Also, switching from class to job is treated as switching classes, and cannot be done while engaged.
That's why you go into the fight prepared, with a couple people on classes before you start.
