Quick Question About World Transfer / New Data Centre

I have tried a support ticket but the reply I got was just links detailing information about the new Data Centre and Free up-coming world transfer, they did not answer my question at all so I am hoping that asking here will find an actual answer.

I am currently on Diabolos server, This server will be moving to the new Crystal Data Centre. I had created my character on Diabolos when it was a preferred world and before any announcement of a new data centre was out. My issue is that I now cannot move servers due to having the 90 day lockout on my character that was given when making a new character on a preferred world.

My original plan was to move to another Primal server once my 90 day lockout was done....but now my server is going to that new Data Centre, does this mean I am now stuck in Crystal and can never go back to primal? If so I feel this is very unfair......

No, there are no limitations to transfers to different datacenters.

No, you will still have the lockout and any other normal restrictions, there are just no blocks on which server or datacenter you can transfer to (other than congested servers)

You cannot transfer if you are still bound by the 90 day limitation. Once you have past this requirement you can turn transfer anywhere you want aside from congested world.

Even though they are offering free transfers, you are still subject to the existing regulations. You created a character on a preferred world so you have to wait out the 90 day limit. Even people who transfer and want to transfer again as long as it's a standard world they still have to wait the 3 days before transferring again.

Oh I understand now, I was under the impression that I could only move servers within my Data Centre, I had no Idea I could move from Crystal to Primal data centre when my lockout was done. thanks for clearing up the confusion everyone.

You can even move regions. IE NA to EU or JP. There are no limitations on that. As long as your character is eligible for transfer, you can go anywhere you want.

Will you still be able to carry 999,999,999 gil past the free transfer period ? Lets say if a buy a transfer later on ? I remember there used to be a lower gil limit...

The gil limit is imposed outside the window unless otherwise stated
