Game meat does not contain meat. It is made of pixels. Animals are also pixels. Your character is also pixels.

That’s true, and there tends to be discussion on vegan forums about this and how to deal with hidden products. Unfortunately, in modern society, the use of animal products is pervasive. Animal products are used in everything from construction to the making of some sugar. The stance of veganism is to minimise harm as much as possible. I can’t avoid computers. Not only do I use one for work but nearly every thing relies on them nowadays. Trains, public utilities, shop tills... it’s simply impossible to avoid it. However, I can avoid killing and eating animals, exploiting them for bodily functions (dairy), using them for my clothing (fur, silk, wool) and otherwise avoid supporting or purchasing things that include animal products, where possible. By doing that, I still have a significant impact. And I think the rise of vegan products and the growing support for it reflects that.
My point to op still stands though, because if they avoid the use of computers, they can’t play ff to start with. Let alone worry about its code.
I've been vegan for years now. In-game meat, fur, animal products etc don't bother me.
It's a video game, and has Zero bearing on real life. If any vegan refused to play games/watch movies that had anything that could be considered "non-vegan" then they wouldn't have very much entertainment to consume.
Plus, I'm vegan, but my character isn't nessisarily.
