Partial rant, but quite serious in the feedback.

Context:

I've had a support ticket open for 3 weeks regarding a character restoration. Aside from the fact that the process is taking an extremely long time and I'm just being told to "wait patiently," I have not found any means of obtaining my ticket number that I am asked for each time that I call. Instead, we have to look up my account by SE ID. It would be nice if there was a section of my SE account/lodestone/whatever where I could view my tickets and ticket history, as well as see the responses to them.

In addition to this, it would be even nicer to see the progress on my ticket or some sort of status update so that I don't have to call every 3 days and sit on hold for 40+ minutes just to hear "we're working on it, just wait 4Head"

In regards to the IVR system when calling the support line, I would have appreciated some hold music. 6 rings and then "thank you for calling Square Enix... we appreciate your patience.. please visit us at support dot square dash enix dot com.." gets very old very quickly
