Sure it's been out forever so maybe something like was made and got buried. Did a search, found nothing mentioning it.

Anyway thanks SE for making a really fantastic and neat piece of content. I've run this almost 10 times without a clear as our groups have all either wiped on Ozma or been learning but it's been very enjoyable to me. Really reminds me of doing larger scale size raids in WoW or other games. I don't know if your team plans to iterate on it but it'd be neat if the next one was harder.

That being said, yes, I am well aware the community has had strong criticism for how easy it is to *organize* a run and to even get into the same Hydatos instance in the first place. I do hope that SE is able to adjust how parties are made for the Arsenal in the future in some way to make it easier for pre-mades but still allow randoms inside. Maybe just make it a queueable instance like every other dungeon or raid we have? Perhaps it could have a custom PF box to allow the assembly of 48 man + a support team which would not zone in immediately?

I'm far from saying it's perfect - YES getting people together and coordination can be a pain sometimes - but it's been a blast so far to particiate in the Arsenal itself and I hope we can see an improved version going forward. The elemental wheel is a nice additional aspect of being in there and the fights are fun with 40+ others. Having to percept for traps and have all groups work together toward a common goal is what makes raiding in this game so great.

The community who is also making the effort to coordinate Discords (I can only speak for Primal's), has also been 99.9% fantastic.

It needs to be a queued duty finder instance.

I don't care if we have to get every piece of gear to enter or complete the relic or hit 30 pre-requisites before setting foot in there, it just has to be instanced. Challenge me with everything you've got to ensure I deserve to be in there.

I want a challenge, I want engaging content, and I think the concept is fantastic. But the community culture is grim if you're forcing players to operate on external, unregulated servers.

Hell, there's nothing stopping Square-Enix from establishing their own Discord servers for each datacenter to solve the voice chat problem.

But currently, the system is broken and reliant on players finding other players and other Discord servers and operating with bots in queues outside of the game. The community is trying to make due. This is WoW, but should not be Vanilla WoW.
