Mount Suggestion: Optional Store

Not a suggestion for new mount types, but a decent change to mounts in the store already. Give us the option to buy mounts for a single character, or account wide.

Example: SDS Fenrir is 29.99 usd for account wide. However, if someone only has one character and has zero intention of getting more characters and wants the SDS Fenrir, they should be able to purchase a single character version of the mount for 15.00 usd, half of what it would be for account wide.

I see single character mounts for 12.00 usd while account wide are 24.00 usd. I don't think they would lose anything to make this slight change to the system, they might actually start selling more mounts because they'll become more accessible to people with lower incomes.

And if the person ever made another character they could buy the single mount again if they wanted it, buy the account wide if they see they might start making more characters on more servers (perhaps with a small discount if they've purchased the single version before), or just ignore it altogether.

Can you say with 100% certainty that you would never ever make another character? I thought for sure I'd never bother trying to finish the first series of relic weapons after struggling with the Atma step back when it first came out, but here I am with two zodiacs.

That's all far too complicated when they can just charge one price. I'm sure people would mess it up and buy three single character mounts for their three characters and then come to the forums and complain that SE ripped them off because they didn't think to buy the account-wide one.

No, I can't guarantee that no one would ever make just one character, hence my suggestions on the discount if someone has already purchased a single character mount. Spend 12/15 bucks for the mount for a single character, then if you decide to buy the account wide later you'd save 6/8 bucks off the price of the account wide one, this way it also makes the account wide purchases more appealing in the long run, while yes, a larger charge up front, you're saving money in the long run, and Square is still getting a decent amount of money.

It's entirely possible, there are people out there that can't follow simple instructions to save their lives, it's just how things are. And if Square makes separate categories for the mounts, one for account wide, one for single, it'll be even harder for said problem to occur.

I can say for 100% certainty that I would never ever make another character, one is enough for me as the only benefit to another character for me is race and server, neither of which im invested in having multiple of. Whats more, I can say for 150% certainty that even if I did make another character, I wouldn't be bummed out because I chose to go for a cheaper single character option for a mount because I'm far more invested in my main.

I would love single account cheaper versions for all mounts.

Well, while you're looking into the future, can you tell me lottery numbers or something? Because that's the only way you can be certain of what you're going to do in the future; if you have some sort of special precognition ability.

My own decided future is not the same as random chance. I know that my future won't entail things that I don't enjoy, particularly considering that my mind hasn't been changed in what could be considered maybe half of the game's lifespan.

In fact I do have another character, he is level 10 and I he won't get much higher than that while he still needs to do the ARR story (reason I didn't mention that is because I literally forgot he existed).

no. I'm of the mind that the price is the price. Time and effort went into creating the mount and the animations involved with it. the only issue with stuff being account wide vs single character is the amount of digital keys allotted.
