Who cares about age when people bring posts like this back from the dead?

If I recall some characters in the game are above the age of 100 and still look young. Kind of like aging in Breath of the Wild. Nobody really dies of old age in this game.

Also I have never seen an elderly looking Miqote. Kind of wild when you think about it.

Yeh, i saw the elderly of all races (ex. veera and hrothgar) but there no wrinkled miqo-te

Well, there is realy popular theme of falling or reancarnation into another world now, think what if you get to live as your character, dont you want to be immortall?

But, sereosly, its just intristing lorewise, for exempel in WOW there clearly known lifespan of races and why some of characters live so long.

Yeh! I saw many old representatives of other races (exp. Hrotgar and viera), but have not seen a single old miqo.

This makes me think that i want to see a Hrothgar's child. I wonder how different they would look from their adult counterparts.

i know this is a necro, but for anyone who is curious … miqo’te can live up to 90-100 years much like humans, though they have an average life expectancy of around 60 due to their harsh life styles (those living in tribes). all races but elezen and viera live around the same, with elezen living up to 120 i believe, and viera around 300. i’m not sure about hrothgar however.

Not just the Miqo'te. According to Koji Fox, everyone in Eorzea lives a short, rough life.

What are the age scales of the races?
Fernehalwes: The five races can live to 100-120 biologically, but most people don’t live much longer than 50. Elezen have longer lifespans.

As far as Miqo'te aging, there's nothing in the game to suggest they stop at 20. That one male Miqo'te face itself looks much older than 20. It's just that there's probably been no reason to make a specifically older model of face for them and only men have an "old" face option in character creator.
