1. Large damage output
2. Crowd Control (Blizzard - Blizzara - Sleep - Sleepga)
3. We'll look cool as hell.

While this post only fleshed out alot of the basic information that we had already received the real juicy details i.e. Job Quests, Jse Armour ect. probably won't be released until the patch notes. What this patch told me was SE put a great deal of thought into what they wanted the Job system to do and how it would work. The combination of Classes for the actual job better reflect what we imagine those Jobs to be. As the post stated the unlocking combos are just to expose the player to to the various aspects of the Armory System. I have no problem with that. The only thing that appears different from what I read before is the fact that Exp earned while in the job will be applied to the base Class. I was under the impression, previously, that Jobs would not earn Exp and had to be delevoped from the Class. Good change. There is enough information here to give me great hope for the Job concept. We will see.
Drg could 1-shot brd when pvp opens! After you sing me a attk+ song![]()

Pre-patch: I don't get it~! I don't like it! It doesn't make sense to me!
Post-patch:
-Some people: It makes sense now! Great system!
-Other people: I STILL DON'T GET IT!
Meh.

I'm hoping they lean back towards a more challenging and defined mob kill experience. It's no fun when you just gather al lthe mobs and jsut aoe them down :/ I want to cc mobs or becareful o nwhat I pull. Even if they did raise exp gained or exp cost to level. all this aoe party non sense is no fun
Zahak uses Dragon's reach! *All mobs are drawn-in to Zahak* Zahak uses wyvern dive! *Zahak deals 9999 fire damage to all moogles in range* Sounds fun, especially the completely believable 9999 dmg! hahaStill sounds fun

ARC aren't "useless in ifrit", they are still capable of pushing 10-12k~ on the parser (which is where the DD's should be at anyway, these numbers assume the fight isn't dragged out from people dying & picking up the slack of other DD).

A bard with a bow at range makes more sense than a bard with a dagger at range. (XI players should know what I'm talking about)

I love how so many people already know exactly how bard is going to work in parties.

Arc cannot even come close to thm regarding DMG on ifrit. Don't say silly things.
