Recruits with unique outfits are clearly superior to other options because they're better at emulating player characters. Especially this one.

What there is a freaking lala snowman one? Yep I need to grind until I get that.
If you plan on reworking your recruits, just remember that when you recruit a new member, they will start one or two levels below max instead of max level. It doesn't take long to get them back to max but just a warning if you didn't do it before.
(I don't remember if it's one OR two levels, but it's at least one)

That's all the healers in the later dungeons though. They doing that thing... CNJ in 30+ content... gitgudpls squaddies!
Which is why I usually run healer with squadron now, I can still pull 2-3 packs of mobs and keep myself alive long enough to for the tank to get them off me. If I run tank, healer has trouble keeping me alive if I big pull, and if I DPS the tank isn't usually fast enough to get mobs off me when I try to big pull... (although as DPS I can kind of jank it if I keep telling the tank to attack different targets, but then I'm spending more time tapping that button than doing any dps...).
My number one hope for future squadron updates is that they get access to job stones.

It takes the average level of all your current members, rounds down, then subtracts a level. If you plan on reworking your recruits, just remember that when you recruit a new member, they will start one or two levels below max instead of max level. The clearly run dungeons in glamour ones tend to only come from gold saucer challenge log dings.
As this is about the squardrons, instead of making a new thread I have a question here. What is the best way to level up your squardron? Is it just spamming the dungeons with them?
Also, is the 1 hour training the only way to raise their stats?
*Peeps inside Rowde's squad barracks*As others have said, they're purely cosmetic at this point.
As you rank up further in your GC you'll be able to buy the books that allow you to change their classes with GC seals at your Grand Company. You'll also be able to change their outfits once they get to a certain level. Can't remember if it's 50 or 60.
At which point there is only one real option...
You go full bunny!
