    Retired racing chocobo below rank 40, what to do now?

    Hey,
    I'm relatively new to FF14 just started this game few months ago. So I just started playing around with chocobo racing and was trying things our to learn the system and apparently I have retired my level 1 racing chocobo.
    Is there anyway I can get a new certificate for a new chocobo or is this content is gone from my game forever?

    Go to central shroud and west of the aetheryte is a npc that gives you a new bird.

    While you can't breed it when you retire below rank 40 you can still get a new one at the chocobo stables on central shroud
