Egh, not a fan of the difficulty spike in this one. My brain hurts. Like others have said, it would have been very nice if they didn't make the maps with the letters so faint for some reason. That was a cheap way to increase the difficulty of the quest.

The animation of the back part of the outfit made me wonder if we're going to actually get capes with physics like that in 5.0.

I'm honestly glad we can just buy the items and the quest is optional. Its too bad the placemats are about as big as some tables, outright impossible to use on the Oasis Round Table because of the center piece.

I love the chest piece.......... but those spriggan ears literally ruin it for me. They remind me of Bahamut buttwings. Really wish you could /visor the hood on or remove the ears entirely. I love the sleeves and the hem.

It's probably just a matter of personal taste. Personally I think the ears/hood add to it but I do agree that we should be able to use /visor to actually put it to use.

Agreed on the ears. Even just from seeing screenshots, I felt like the costume would look better without it - and now having just run the quest with my male Au Ra alt... I haven't seen what it's like on other races, but it is absolutely ridiculous in conjunction with their exaggerated run. The ears fling out horizontally with every step.


And unfortunately /visor isn't going to do anything, because it's not headgear. I really wish they'd made a similar toggle effect that would change the appearance of some body gear pieces though, because it would have huge potential for customisation. Imagine being able to toggle off WHM 70's fan collar, or turn off the skirt section of two-part body gear like the Thavnairian sets!

The ear wiggle is so ridiculous I've embraced it and now find delight in doing the Hildibrand Mambo with the jacket.

I didn't like the 2nd quest. I talked to the Miqote till it said "Do you want her to solve it for you," which I stopped at, ran all the way round map looking for the name it spelled out and couldn't find them. So I talked to the Miqote again and she said Central Shroud. There was no hint at all that you had to leave Gridania for the quest and you can't expect people to remember the name of every NPC. Especially if you only encounter them once or twice.
