Glitched Lalafell Skirt

Hii,

I have a problem with my longer skirts and robes. And I have this problem for years now, I think since 2015.

When I enter or leave instanced contet, or sometimes when I change the map inside an instance, my skirt gets glitched in rare occasions. It then stays this way until I restart the game.

It happens sometimes multiple times a day, or not at all for more than a week. But most of the time I will have this glitch around once or twice a day.

I am a female Lalafell at minimum height. I guess no other races will have this problem?

Maybe these glitches have something to do with the animation change for the sitting position for female Lalafell back in patches 2.35 and 2.38? I can't remember that this glitch occured ever before these changes.

Also ever since these changes this glitch happens when you are wearing a skirt as a female Lalafell and catch a fish in the sitting position:

I have reported that animation change glitch as a bug a while ago, but the devs were not able to reproduce it. And I also don't know how to reproduce it with guarantee. I only know it happens at random when entering or leaving instanced content, after the loading screen the skirt is bugged. I never had the bug in the normal overworld.

I have this problem with ALL of the longer skirts and robes.

Maybe someone else has noticed the same glitch? Or can help me to reproduce it so the devs finally can fix it? It gets pretty annoying having to relog all the time, but I love my long skirts :x

So the main glitch your referring to I'd wager is user-end, meaning that it has more to do with whatever you're using for graphics.

On the other hand, dress wireframes can get kinda goofy in this game.

I have the same thing happen. The only way I've found to fix it is to log out and back in again. But, I have been many different races, so it's not exclusive to lala.

Oh, right, the glitch is only visible on my end, other players see the animation correctly.

I am playing on PS4, so i expect that there must be no problem with my hardware since it's standardized.

Uh, thank you, you are the first person I ever found who also had the problem :O I guess not many people are wearing long skirts and robes o.ô;

One time the glitch fixed itself without logging out and logging in again. But no idea how that happened.


I often had this glitch in Swallows Compass, when I was using the flying cloud in the last part of the dungeon. But when I tried to reproduce it of course it never happened... back when it was the current expert dungeon the skirt glitched out every single time...

I also noticed that the skirt glitched inside Eureka, without me changing zones. But again, no idea how that happened and how to reproduce it :x

But usually the glitch occurs when I am loading into an instance.

That's not a lalafell only glitch.
It happens to my game as well where the cloth physics (not hair or breast physics) will stop working and go to their normal 100% weighting on the legs.
I've noticed it happen after I have a minor game hiccup.
And yeah the only way to revert it is to relog.

There was a big server lag (more than 10 seconds) in Eureka. My party members had the lag too and I saw some DC-symbols right after.

After that lag my skirt was glitched again.

This happens to me too sometimes. I'm not sure when it started happening, maybe when 4.0 hit? I noticed the way the cloth physics changed on my glamour (billowed out less than before). This was around the time the cloth physics were changed and they showcased the samurai sleeves.

Wow, never noticed this before xD. I do mostly wear leggings or bare legs so thats prolly why. Now Ima have to equip a skirt and see!
