So, now I need to buy six tomes of Geological Folklore at 2500 red scrips each, or 15000 total (!)
And, since I still refuse to pay more than 300 gil for a teleport, it's slow getting to the timed nodes... This will take forever![]()

Custom deliveries give several thousand scripts every week. It still takes a while, but less than the million years you're probably expecting otherwise.
Wait, seriously?
I'm not about that walkin'...
Lucky with my squadron chemistries, they've been keeping me rolling in scrips while I use the custom deliveries for crafters. Can't have been doing this more than a couple months, and already my gatherers are all in full augmented whatever 60 scrip gear, ready to start picking up the folklore just cuz there's not much else to spend it on. All without gathering a thing.
I'd recommend looking into it, but, total rng for getting the chemistries, made even worse by I'm pretty sure those types only ever pop from the once-a-week missions anyway. Is rough.
Edit: literally just had one pop off the tier 2 missions. More gathering scrips. C'mooonnnn, I wanna switch some of these to crafter scrips already.

I did the deliveries today, and ended up with around 1600 yellow scrips (Far more than I expected). and 2000 reds (Thought they were all yellow, Didn't notice the reds.
Bought a full set of 350 accessories to replace the 180 items I had.
And, teleport costs. I only have 553K gil. If I went hopping all over the place paying 600-900 gil chasing timed nodes, I'd be spending it faster than I earn it. At least now, I won't be buying as much gear and material since most of that will come from scrips.
I don't look forward to crafting profs though, since I'll have to go running all over the place to farm materials.

Across all of the crafts that you have available, check for the recipes that are easiest for you to gather mats and stockpile those mats to specifically use every time the recipe comes up on the list.
Level your retainers because they can also gather mats for your craft collectibles.
Turn in GC items [old dungeon gear] or weekly gathering/crafting items for GC seals that you can trade for ventures or do hunts for retainer ventures.
You can also do red scrip nodes that are not timed. They take longer, but you can basically just wait for your gp to regen [switch jobs and craft collectibles while you wait] and rinse repeat instead of teleporting all over the place for timed nodes.
Save home points, Free location and Favored locations for specific nodes on all three gathering jobs and focus only those.
Doman enclave donation basket weekly turn ins is also a source for gil on uneeded items.

The gil you get from turning in the collectibles should more than pay for teleport costs. You can also do hunts and buy atheryte tickets for free teleports
