The DC split sure has wrecked the queue times for PvP. Frontline used be 5 min average but now it has increased to 15 min.

No pop for the Rival Wings discord last weekend when we tried to get some matches going. Not enough people.

To early to tell since the World Visit System might make it easier to organize for stuff, but as of this moment, it seems the DC split has ruined PvP for EU players.

Have to agree frontline used to be not so bad but since the split it has made the wait longer

Even on Aether, PF gets quiet during off hours. That's just the nature of, y'know, time.

I wouldn't worry too much. The data centre splits have just coincided with the usual pre-expansion lull (probably intentionally by SE), where many people are not playing and are waiting for the expansion to drop. It happened during Heavensward before Stormblood dropped.

It'll pick up once Shadowbringers drops.

I wouldn't have been so bothered with the split if it weren't for the fact that Chaos had a lot of times many 72 player Frontline matches happening during prime time. Now the wait time has more than doubled for just 24 player matches.

I just hope the decrease in traffic is just temporary.

Maybe SE are planning to market Shadowbringers even more than what they did for Stormblood so they anticipate a big wave of new players to enter the game. Here's hoping, I guess.
