Not every day is the same as earlier days.

You know what do to? You did it earlier? Doesn't matter when the day is not yours.

I did Alphascape in a static. We cleared it in the 3rd ID. So I would say we are not that bad.

After this the weekly rekills were done.

Our best was around an hour for all 4 turns.

Sometimes we needed 2 evenings to get it done.

On other days we needed an entire timer just to pass Midgardsormr.

Not every day is the same, even if you know the fight like your pocket.

Not sure what you’re trying to say here. Unless you’re implying that people can know mechanics one day and then suddenly forget them the next. It’s one thing to have a brain fart and blanking once—quite another to die to the same mechanic multiple times in a row.

For me depends on my lag that day. Some days have no lag problems and other days hardly can play from it. Most days my ping is below 100 and some days it goes up to 300. That's why I will never run savage. Just never know when my ping will jump.

my static had the same problems. Some weeks we'd one shot every boss in Alphascape and be done with raiding on tuesday. Other weeks, we'd fudge up Middy or Omega for the entire lockout.

But that doesn't mean we didn't know the mechanics, we all had different levels of distraction, sleep loss, w/e. we didnt blame any one thing, just kept going. But even so, that's not what Hyomin is talking about.

I'm not in Japan or play on Japan servers, so I don't really care. I agree this is how NA runs hard content. I believe it is to everyone's benefit to know how the majority plays said content and learn to adapt to it if you want to be accepted, recruited, and clear said content. OR you can keep fighting the good fight and convince people to be more like Japan. I find my static to be very team oriented since we try to help everyone approve, we teach each other content, we go over strats at length, etc . but that's again, just 1 static's experience.

I would guess the reason people left is because the dps output was low. I know I will quit a farm group after 1 pull if the dps is really low or if there are dps getting beat by tanks. I strongly doubt people were leaving because they wanted a good parse because why would you join a party with a blm to begin with if you wanted to do that. They probably just wanted to get some quick easy clears and once they saw 1 pull realized that it was going to be too much of a chore and left.

People will do mistakes and so will I. So I usually give things a few tries, because a second chance is what I would want from others too if I'm a little bit rusty or messed up something. Like today, I joined a farming PUG for 09S and we needed our time, but after 2-3 pulls everything went smooth and we farmed that sucker dry like a farm-party is supposed to do. We even had a good time and my friendlist growed a bit.
In the end, it depends: if it are simple mistakes, sure, that happens. But if we keep on wiping because people are standing on wrong markers and messing up the same mechanics over and over again, I'll leave because I don't see this going anywhere soon and that's not 'farming', it's still 'learning'.

@OP: that is why I'm still on HW1 prog. People can't seem to understand that M/F needs to be on clear to get to HW1 and when I get into a party that can't even handle dice that is usually my indicator to leave. I give them the 3 strike rule as no one is perfect and sometimes I go a few more runs just to see but there is no need to waste my time with carrying people who don't need to be in this content. However if we get to enrage consistently I usually stay as it means the group understands the fight but might just messing up a bit here and there which happens to all of us from time to time. If only there was an LS on primal or any other data center that has pug raiders I'm sure we wouldn't be in this situation.

The more DPS you have, the earlier the fight is done, the less mechanics you have to handle, the easier the fight gets.

Fights like O10S get alot easier, when you can skip the last 2 minutes before enrage, as he trows out alot mechanics with a high potential for failures during this time.

Argument without any proof is no argument.

You really want to tell me, that you perform every day the same? Are you a robot or a human? For humans it would be very unusual to perform every day on the same level.
