Just wondering y was 2 new tall races choicen?

So from what i saw the two were choice for more bulkly,beast type....

I get y they are beastal but did both choices literally have to be tall height choices for the last races to be added?

If you want a shorter character you literally just have lala or au-ra female as an option

when all others are tall.. short-Species are very lacking option wise in overall options.
thats the biggest thing i don't get Y choice more tall-species for the ending of races to be added

Miqo'te are also tiny, but that entire race caps out at like 5'3 I think even for the men. Then there's also Hyur which even for Highlanders are pretty much mid-range in terms of height compared to everyone else. Also I don't think we actually saw how tall the Hrothgar are? They look more bulky than tall in their trailer and we don't have much in the way to accurately compare their height to. Sure they aren't itty bitty, but I would be surprised if they're Roe height.

As for why Viera and Hrothgar? Bestial races and Viera have been the top two requested races for years now, and the 'small' variant of the Viera that was put out in concept back in Heavensward didn't seem to be that popular.

If I recall, it was mentioned both Hrothgar and Viera (probably because ears) are taller than Roes. By how much though, is left to be seen.

I don't think height was a factor at all in the decision. As it stands, Hrothgar and Viera are two very different types of race.

I keep hoping they will add Burmecians and make both the male and females Fem Au Ra sized, or the moogles from FF12. Granted I think small races like Lalafells look really silly as anything other than mages but. Meh. I still would like them.

I would honestly LOVE a moogle from FF12 race. They are soooo cute!

Also, +1 on the Bumercians, would've been great.

I was hoping that hrothgar would be average height and their only outstanding feature, besides being lions, would their bulk. I prefer playing average to short races. Guess I'll just scale all the way down.

I'd love a race that is between Lalafell and Miqo'te height. Padjal would fit, but for lore reasons we will never get them. I dunno, maybe Gria, but that's another gender locked race.

I think we have plenty of "short" races. You have the potato's, the fem Au Ra's, and the Miqo's. Then you have the "mid" races, the hoomans. Last the "tall" races Elves, Male Au ra, and Roe's. If anything we need 2 more "mid" races, not more "short" ones.

PS: Height is all relative to the player. Some people might consider my short to be mid, or my mid to be short, etc ....
