Moving to Behemoth!

So I joined FF14 a year or so ago, and I only joined on Malboro because I was told it was quiet and peaceful, but over this year I’ve had people in dungeons calling me a filthy

pot smoker

, and similar insults. I’ve never done such things in my life and never will. Even knowing this, I still think I’m going to move to Behemoth. I am curious though, has anyone else from Malboro been called such names?

Is this a troll post? Also duty finder pairs you up with people from all over the data center. I’ve been on Marlboro for years and never encountered such behavior. Given that Behemoth will be part of Primal and we’re going to Crystal you’ll likely be safer staying put.

I see these types of comments a lot when people say things about any server. Because you never encounter it does not mean it doesn't exist. Since we're talking about trolls, perhaps the OP was the one trolled. This would easily explain why it hasn't happened to you. You were never the victim/it's never happened in your vicinity. This is like saying, "I lived in my house for years but never encountered a shooting in my neighborhood." Maybe one has happened and it's just slipped through without your knowledge. There have been houses on fire in my neighborhood that I didn't know about for months.

On the serious point, you're going to encounter negative behavior on any server/data center. You will also encounter some positive behavior as well. It's not always easy and lord knows I'm not the best at doing this myself, but the best thing to do is to learn to ignore it.
