Rp servers?

I had a dark one time that tied an eye roll even on the first time macro to their not plunge pull skill. Guess what you got to see on every trash pack and boss pull. I also hate raise macros at least outside of dungeons as you hopefully won't see them often, but in anything else specially 24mans where you'll see it even if it's for another party's member it gets to be a bit much. Even more if it comes off in a how dare you die and make me use up a huge chunk of my mp type of wording. I don't mind funny or cute ones, but even those after so many times stop being funny or cute.

My first time healing 24 man my rather simple "I got you <t>!<se.I forget the number>" got sooo old, so very fast. Especially when I was low on mp, and macro wasted because I don't got them. I soon took it off and decided to pass altogether.

A lot of you have talked about party chat, all my macros are set to yell. Then is no sound when I use a macro. Only my greeting and goodbye macros go to party chat.

People in your party still see what you type in Yell, except now it's in bright yellow text and even more of an eyesore. Not only that, now instead of annoying just your party members with it, you're annoying everyone in an entire 24-man alliance, or anyone in the general vicinity on the overworld if its a hunt or fate. Worst of all, it can be confused with important NPC text prompts that go along with mechanics that also have a yellow-ish color, assuming you haven't changed the default colors. Just put it on /echo.

Oh yeah, everyone says macros for raising to let the other healer know is great, but in my experience, they are completely useless as both healers hit the macros at the same time.

Hi fellow Warriors of Light! So I love making awesome macros, and I only put worded macros on spells and abilities with long cooldowns, or situational ones. However, some people hate when you have any worded macros, and they have told me “This isn’t an rp server weeb!” “Go to an rp server if you want to act like such a weeb!” And I’ve never thought about it till now, but are there rp servers where people like me use macros? If so, which ones are they?

And even then, most people on rp worlds aren't rpers themselves. I moved to mateus before it became an rp hub, because it was small and had lots of plots available. We were on balmung before and that had no housing. Unfortunately the rpers decided to go to mateus too...

In yell? No wonder people got mad. It's not the whole zone like shout, but it does cover a lot of ground.

Hell, even on skills that have a long recast time it gets annoying. No one wants to see it unless it's information someone needs. If you want to RP, that's fine, but the problem comes when you throw it at everyone who doesn't want to RP. I have party sounds on for a reason. If someone is pinging the chat box, it means I need to know about an ability, or a mechanic that is coming. I don't wanna have to deal with "Darkness come to me <se.1>" every 3 seconds in the party chat, use /echo.



Might be better off finding an RP linkshell in your server. Not sure about other servers, since I don't RP, but Siren seems to have a lot of RPing going on.

btw if you dont want to see rp you shouldnt be playing a roleplaying game Jrpgs are ment for rp lol
