I had a dark one time that tied an eye roll even on the first time macro to their not plunge pull skill. Guess what you got to see on every trash pack and boss pull. I also hate raise macros at least outside of dungeons as you hopefully won't see them often, but in anything else specially 24mans where you'll see it even if it's for another party's member it gets to be a bit much. Even more if it comes off in a how dare you die and make me use up a huge chunk of my mp type of wording. I don't mind funny or cute ones, but even those after so many times stop being funny or cute.

My first time healing 24 man my rather simple "I got you <t>!<se.I forget the number>" got sooo old, so very fast. Especially when I was low on mp, and macro wasted because I don't got them. I soon took it off and decided to pass altogether.

Oh yeah, everyone says macros for raising to let the other healer know is great, but in my experience, they are completely useless as both healers hit the macros at the same time.

Especially are healers waisting their mana for nothing in my parties because i already raisemaged with dualcast. :thumbsup:

People can RP all they want but as soon as tanks go into duties without a jobcrystal (yes i had this, thankfully just once) or the chat gets spammed by text macros with or without sound it has to stop. RPing is the same as everything else, there is no problem with it as long as you don't annoy people with it.

A lot of you have talked about party chat, all my macros are set to yell. Then is no sound when I use a macro. Only my greeting and goodbye macros go to party chat.

That is actually even worse. You aren't just spamming your party, you are spamming everyone. So if you were in alliance raid, then the other alliances would have to see your silly macro.

I think people need to just stop macroing abilities besides Rez.

Having a macro for Rez is completely acceptable. It lets people know you are rezzing someone, so someone else knows not to waste their time/MP.

Other abilities with long cooldowns like Hallowed Ground, or Living Dead is okay too.

Hey now, calling it silly is rather insulting. I would call it unnecessary. Sounds mean, but ultimately true.

That is....even worse.

People in your party still see what you type in Yell, except now it's in bright yellow text and even more of an eyesore. Not only that, now instead of annoying just your party members with it, you're annoying everyone in an entire 24-man alliance, or anyone in the general vicinity on the overworld if its a hunt or fate. Worst of all, it can be confused with important NPC text prompts that go along with mechanics that also have a yellow-ish color, assuming you haven't changed the default colors. Just put it on /echo.
