SOS! Game is boring me, only one week in and I feel like I'm playing wow again, no idea how parties work and spending all my time solo grinding or leves, this bores me to tears, any kind and helpfull soul on Besaid server wanna help me level/show me the ropes, playing with others is the reason I pay for an MMO. It would be nice to have a helpfull experienced player actively help the newer players make thier climb, so please and thank you to anyone out there heeding this desperate players cry for help. You should shout in Ul'dah for a linkshell. That's the fastest way to make internet friends.

Don't be annoying. Don't spam every 30 seconds. Just politely ask for a social linkshell that will help you get on your feet.

FFXIV is designed for party gameplay not solo, so playing solo more or less will drive you to quit this game after awhile. At least that is how it is for most ppl.

As Rau said get a linkshell, try to find one that is active. Once you get that you will be able to get partys, help leveling up, and everything else.

Xp will come about 10 fold faster, leveling will be less boring, you will have access to do different events outside solo grind.

It is a different game once you start partying with other ppl.

Well, truth is I got invited to this LS, but the response I've gotten from them wasn't very helpful, it was more along the lines of busy doing thier own thing and telling me to just lfp or shout for parties. Not what I like to hear, but it's the main reason I dislike LSs they put on an aire like they're a cool group of helpful players but then when it comes time to help the "noobs" out they give the cold shoulder in favor of thier endgame/high end activities. :/

Kinda hard to help or party with yeah, when nearly.. all my classes are level 50 :/. Its not that we Dont want too.. just we don't have the means to do so...

Well.. at least for me I been leveling at my own pace since launch and im finally reach the end point for leveling classes :P.

It's a sad state of affairs for low level people atm. The only way any of those "high level" people can help is by power leveling you.
The best they can do w/o playing the game for you is give you advice until you either get close enough in level to start grouping with those higher level people or someone has a similar level job (within 10 levels of you)

Or if SE was to do something like oh..... i dunno... ADD LEVEL SYNC?
