FFXIV crashes on cutscenes and raid

Hi my Final fantasy game crashes whenever i get to particular cutscenes and now at a raid which stops me from progressing in Stormblood.

I always get the same error and this is what it looks like

I tried runnning it both in DirectX9 and DirectX11

Not SE support here but I've seen this error multiple times before. It was hitting my friend especially hard during Orbonne. He found out that one of his issues was a secondary HDD throwing SMART errors, but it still happens to him occasionally.

I was also getting this pretty frequently on my laptop whenever I tried a high intensity activity, but I haven't seen it in months. Supposedly it is a driver issue possibly related to sound?

Which particular cutscenes are you having trouble with? Does the game crash outside of these particular areas?

Can you submit a Final Fantasy XIV system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'
