This is the first MMO I stuck with for a few reasons:

Having armor/clothing options for my female character that actually....LOOKS LIKE FUNCTIONAL ARMOR. Seriously. It bugs the heck out of me when armor variations on female models is the "sexy Halloween costume" variant of the cool looking guy armor. Being able to deck my lady out in proper plate or in slick looking caster gear went a long way in endearing this game to me.

Knowing that I wouldn't be locked into a single class was awesome.

Story. Especially the little winks they give about how you end up in instances with full parties. "Warrior of Light, you always manage to find capable adventurers to help you in your fight!" I think it does a solid job of putting every player in the spotlight of their own story while explaining all the other adventurers out there.

Variety of end game content. Like to raid? We got raids! Don't like raiding? Well we have other classes, relic weapons, gathering, crafting, mini games, side quests, EX trials, achievements, and hunts! There's a little something for everyone.

Glamour (a bit different from my number 1 of how dear looks) is fantastic. It's so cool to see what people put together with all the different looking gear you can make and find. Walking through the major cities it's neat to see all the variety rather then a bunch of cookie cutter looking outfits.
