This is more direct.Maybe instead of that, more like a lottery system? You go to the placard, give the gil to buy it, there's a list of buyers and then by RNG one person buys it and everyone else gets their money back. Equal opportunity for everyone, it guarantees everyone has the gil to buy it and you don't risk your life clicking for 15 hours!
So I forgot how much time I wasted on this rubbish, but we didn't get it. instead someone who appeared for less than an hour did.
The other people who had been waiting 20+ hours with me were LIVID and started spewing venom at the person who got it.
This is literally a sh*tshow.
The housing system needs a massive rework.

May i suggest, well just for the time being to release the anxiety (besides having a cup of chamomile tea), get an apartment perhaps in shirogane to cut costs of porting as well, and decorate it as much as you like. You can now have lofts without the need for glitching, and you know apartments are not subject to auto demolition, and in an unfortunate event of an fc disband the room is safe.So I forgot how much time I wasted on this rubbish, but we didn't get it. instead someone who appeared for less than an hour did.

Housing system is a pathetic joke which honestly SE deserves a class action lawsuit to have it changed ASAP. So far I've waited about 20 hours, mind you I am still waiting as i'm writing this to buy a fucking house. Places are open, they can be purchased, OH WAIT, RNG TIMER!
The gorilla who thought this system was a good idea needs to be fired and permanently prohibited from interacting with game development ever again.
Why? It's not their fault... Like you said - it's the system. I hope those "spewing venom" get some temp bans.
It's been 3 days. 5 houses slipped past me.
Today I have been at it for 15 hours.
My back hurts, sleep is lacking, and people are rude.
I'M RUNNING OUT OF COFFEE TO INHALE.
I know the timer was put in cause of house flippers, but this is seriously cruel and unjust..
Please SE, there has to be a better way.
This is murdering me.
To overcome that problem believe the solution is to implement one in game system of selling and buying houses between the characters/players without have the time for the demolition.
For example such as one in game housing market, where two players agree to sell and buy one property (one property as a limit per player) under SE system rules.
Since there are so many plots per server the more logical upgrade for housing system would be the house market between characters/players, in game.

This buying between players is a terrible idea. It will just go back to “estate agent” time when ppl using multiple account to make Gil through housing.
A rng system is needed, however, I do not see why Dev take the RNG time instead of a less time wasting but equally fair pure lottery draw rng system
Not if SE set the price per house type and only allow one home to sell per SE account, unfortunately already happen in our server we have 1 player that owns 32 homes of various type which is unfair. This buying between players is a terrible idea. I think my house is demolished and invaded by the time i will return, no matter, ill just join a fc in interests![]()
