Random timer for plots

Hopefully this is the right place for this...
Can we PLEEEEAAAAASE shorten the maximum wait time for the timer. Maybe something like random availability between 40 min after relinquish to 3 hrs and after that the plot is completely accessible. I've seen someone gave up on sleep and waited 23 hrs for a plot.

All I saw were bunch of zombies kept clicking the placards the whole day.

I just gave up after 7+ hours of waiting.
The timer is way too long.

Having it be a set time that is visible still gives people a fair chance to gather around the placard and be able to have a shot at buying the plot.
The current system is ridiculous.

current system is there to prevent instant house flipping. if people knew when the timer was going to be up they would just plan to demolish at a certain time to ensure that no one else would interfere and then the same old problem would be back.

Oh, you sweet summer child. Put a 2 in front of that... That's how long my last house took. I was recovering for a couple days after that hahaha!

But when the timer keeps being random and just been shown on the placard their is no way they can handle it like you suggest.

Camped infront of a medium house for 30-ish minutes, thought, 'oh well, I can do my laundry, won't go away in 5 min' welp, what do you know ?

To be honest I was just a tad disappointed. Got a small house instead and it's alright

oh i see what you mean i was thinking for some reason it would be visible to the person who demolishes so that they could arrange a transaction =p yeah even if it was shown it would come down to whoever was the better clicker.
