FFXIV already has better character customization than Warcraft

What more do you guys want? Name some games that do it better!

    Give some examples!

TESO has customisable sliders, tattoo/piercing options, body shape sliders... I could go on, but you get the idea.

I'm actually pretty content with the character creation in this game, though if they ever add more I'll be happy as a clam. That said there are plenty of games that do it better and WoW is not really anywhere near the top in that baseline. The Elder Scrolls Online, Phantasy Star Online 2, Black Desert Online, Blade and Soul, heck even Bless and Revelation let you play with proportions and sliders for significantly more options.

Black Desert Online has a bunch of sliders and customisation.

It also offers a handy tool to save and import/export templates and you can browse popular player made templates.

Creators in Aion or PW were quite good for their time. Also, TESO, BDO, B&S. Not about graphic (I personally find FF14 graphic the best though we do have some issues with textures), just about the whole system of changing face and body parameters.

Aion was limited in the fact that you could only really create animu or korean pop idol faces unless you went off the rails goblin. B&S- also NCsoft, did the same thing. I like the body options in other games, but XIV stylistically clicks with me best. XIV's body options just feel like the scaler tool in photoshop. You get max height, and min height. No hips, leg proportions or anything that makes your body really stand out since even flat chest isn't truly flat.

    Star Trek Online.
    Champions Online
    Neverwinter [Online]
City of Heroes (dead but ahead of it's time, gear had no appearance, armor was part of your character customization.)
    DC Universe Online

and while at DC Universe Online: in that game, as soon as an item becomes bound to you, it's "glamour" look is now part of your character and you can at any time just change that gear piece to that look. Best Glamour System, period.

Warcraft isn't exactly a shining example to compare to :P

Making a character in WoW is like "hm, which of these faces is the least ugly..."

Honestly I think FFXIV is one of the best in terms of being both versatile and good looking. Seen other games allow more detailed facial adjustments, body sliders, posture sliders, etc... sometimes even in addition to clothing customization. But pretty much in every other case I've found there's a cost elsewhere to visuals or versatility that isn't as good as FFXIV imo.

Like a year ago or more I tried Skyforge, the game gets boring pretty soon but the character creation was really nice, and there were butts. And muscles. Lol. You have quite a lot of customization options there. And it's a F2P.

Edit: You can even pick the standing pose of your character and the way he runs.
