This will be my last post, I'm done with the game. Some thoughts...

For all of you that cheat and use parsers, and hunt radars, gathering bots, etc... and then have the gall to tell others they are not good players because they don't... enjoy your toxicity.

For SE.. maybe trying actually enforcing your ToS?

So much of the community in this game just openly brags and craps on others that refuse to cheat as being bad players that don't "want to get better." And SE... does absolutely nothing. Nothing at all.

Communities are definitely not what they use to be before MMOs (and games in general) became mainstream. I just try to avoid those I don't agree with, although I hope you find a game you enjoy.

I wouldn't say using parsers is cheating but I don't agree with the bragging,crapping on others.

Just report them if that happens to you. A lot of bad apples but its probably not because they're parsing and rather they're just jerks.

They're not against parsers. Only if they're against the tos which for XIV they are and they don't care that Yoshida is all use em, but dont use them to be mean and has been trying to do end game stuff without having them used even by other people.

Gathering bots are one thing, I can't stand them.
But from most of my experience "Hunt radars" aren't actually that anymore. It's just a well defined network of hunters in linkshells relaying information and someone gets mad they're always late to the party.
People who complain about parsers are usually the ones that can't take criticism that they could have used to improve. Almost everyone at some point finds out they've been doing everything wrong the whole time, and it can be a quick adjustment to make things a lot better. While SE doesn't officially allow it, they know most people are going to act like adults about it and will only go after people who harass others.

Cheating, yeah screw that. Parsing, nah its great, only way to see performance of myself and my friends and strive for improvement.

Parsing is fine, as long as it doesn't turn you into a rude person. (Known a few people that starting using a parser that ended up becoming very rude because of it)

Sorry for your bad expierence, I wish you would stay and give it a chance becuase I was in your shoes a while ago but found some great people to play with.

Parsers arnt bad, it's honestly just some of the idiots that use them for the wrong reasons which is counterproductive to what we use them for which is "improving performance" and instilling competitive camradery amongst friends.
