Character Customization Moving Forward into Shadowbringer

I swear they responded to this over a year ago or more. Didnt they say something akin to the more options a character has the more stress it puts on the server memory load or something and thats why they hadnt included any new options beyond that spider face tattoo way-back when....?

I could be wrong... Just feel like I recall hearing that.

Assuming that isnt the case and they can make additions, I'd love to see a full color palette for hair, skin and highlights instead of just a series of colors they've chosen.
I'd also like the ability to add more than one face paint, etc.
Maybe a few new face types as well.

I'd also love the option to have multiple face paints. Why can't my character have both her cheek tattoo and eye shadow. ;w;

6. Let us pick two make up options. Sometimes I want eye shadow /and/ a tattoo from the makeup list. Especially on races/faces that don't come with build in eyeshadow.

I'd also like the ability to add more than one face paint, etc.

Personally I really want to be able to pick the freckles face paint and another one (such as the stars or chocobo hatchling), so maybe they could be grouped into categories? For example, a category for "makeup" and one for "tattoos" and you can choose 1 from each category.

I could be wrong... Just feel like I recall hearing that.

I don't remember exactly either, but I do recall them saying at that time that things like body-shape sliders (or more sliders in general) were difficult and/or didn't want people making weird proportions that somehow create strange new races in XIV. But the thing about the server's memory or what-not did come-up about something customization-related. I don't remember the jargon or which interview/Live letter to search for.

But they did ask for more feedback about what more we want to see for existing customization options, because I remember rolling my eyes at the notion that they've potentially never seen nor heard any of all the requests for more face options and accents like beards/stubble/eyebrows since like, ever... Though I think it's because they've gotten vague feedback under the general common request of "more customization options!" and might have had misconceptions of what was being asked for. So this thread could be good for that.

Orange hair also looks kind of weird on most of the races.

Besides just appearance options, I'd like some of the gestures and motions from other genders to be unlocked. Like the 2nd female DRK idle stance for the males and vice-versa. I'd even be ok with purchasing a motion pack from other races. Like a midlander having the ability to idle, stand and run like a miqote'. It would really allow for more customization of our characters. If a 10-year old game like Aion can do this, I don't see why FFXIV can't.

Other than that more hairstyles, eyes, mouths, face and body shapes and beards/stubble for men.
