Repairs/Melding: Stop Increasing Its Level

It might seem daunting but it's not as though it's impossible. I have several crafters to 50 on my first character. I made a new one in HW and didn't bother much with crafting. THEN, I made yet another new main character for Stormblood. I took the time to level every single crafter and gatherer to 70 (I still have 2 left - armorer and fisher! But they're almost there!!). Did it take time? Yes. Was it daunting? Sure. But it can be done and if you want to level those things up, then you'll do it.

I don't think there are many people who level it up for repairs. Most do it because they like it or because they want to be able to make their own stuff without having to spend so much money. Or they want to make money. That being said, repairing from a vendor isn't the worst thing in the world. I did it throughout HW and it really wasn't that bad at all and it acts as a pretty decent gil sink which this game sorely lacks.
