2019 Free Transfers Data Split - Apartments

Hello,

Since today we had EU Data Centres split, I wanted to move to my friends who happen to end up on different data centre.

I would like tho, to ask about one thing:

Your character must not own any land, estate, or apartment housing.

Therefore I can't own the apartment at the moment of applying for transfer? Do I have to take out all furnitures both from apartment and the storage?... it will be kind of hard... as I don't have much space left (plus I had to take items from shared house...).

Maybe somebody already transferred and could clarify for me. Will be very grateful for more info/explanation.

If I remember correcly, you can just transfert anyway (when you do the transferring, they will tell you that you own an appartment, and tell you that you will have a compensation of 500k + 500k for the furnishing you might have lost).

But if you don't take the furnitures in your inventory or your retainers, they will be lost. If you don't have much space, I'd suggest taking the ones that are expensive and/or rare (event furnitures for exemple) first.

Correct, any furniture left in the apartment and its storage will be lost, so stuff your bags/retainers before initiating a transfer.

You will only get compensation for your apartment/estate if you are either moving to a New world (there are no new worlds at the moment) or transferring from a Congested world to a Preferred World.

I transferred this afternoon wilst my estate was still on and got a compensation. The world I went to wasn't perferred or anything, as far as I know. Maybe it's something special for the server split ? They did say people transferring would get compensation.

Right you are. That is special for the free transfer period following the data center split.

if your billing cycle is due soon you might be able to stock up on prorated retainers use the space to move your stuff then cancel them before next cycle.

Hahaha 500k for furniture. That's cute. A combed woolen rug alone is like 700k on my server. Make that more like 30 mil for furniture...
