Yoshi-P next game...FF14 future (?)

Greetings everyone.

I am what you would call a WoW exile, i quit that game and at the end of 2018 i joined Final Fantasy XIV and i'm loving this game even if i only have something like 200 hours +.

Looking and reading and even some videos recently about a new project at SE that will have Yoshi P as main guy or one of the new devs ahead of it, i can;t stop to wonder if this means that FF14 will come to an end soon or if like FF XI even if the game is still active all these years around the world will it get lesser attention from the devs and in consequence less content?

No, I wouldn't expect it to end any time soon. Even if Yoshi-P were to step down, they would just hire a new Producer.

Basically, at this point, nobody knows, and everything's pure speculation, but the consensus is that there's no way they'd sideline a game that's bringing in as much money as this one. It's more likely that they're bringing in someone else to cover some or all of the work Yoshi-P has been doing with XIV so that he can put some of his attention on the next big game they're working on. It's the start of a new fiscal year, and they're shuffling people around.

This game was said to have a 10 year cycle minimum so it is safe to say it will be around for sometime.
Yoshida is taking on another project yes and it sounds like development has already begun

i expect 2 more expansions (when we get to 99/100) before they slow this game down
So yeah about 10 years
