How did you choose your name?

Kinda simple tbh since before i was changing the name like crazy until this : first clear for Sophia Ex got me the mount -> Sophia then.
Since the drop happened on the first clear from the first try-> Miyuki with the meaning beautiful fortune.
I have settled to this and haven't changed since then.

My original name was Kakiko Kiko as I started as a lalafell. The random name generator in the game selected Wakiko Kiko but I didn't like the "W" so I changed it to a "K." After I swapped to Miqo, I figured a less lore-dependent name was in order and since everyone in my FC called me Kiko anyway, I stuck with that as a first name. Hakoda is the last name of a friend from another game and so I used that.

My main's original name was Aria Reis in an attempt to find a server to main let alone one that had enough space. When my Guild/League/FC picked a space this girl was promoted to main. Then when the name change function came out first thing I did was changed her name to Xiaomu Xiang. Xiang was a name often used for created characters and I've always liked the name Xiaomu. And the rest is history.

Mine is sort of an homage to two characters I had created in WoW.

Matheron = Mathereion, who was my Human Hunter
Xanto = Xathoms, who was my Blood Elf Demon Hunter.

Kaelah is the name I used for my WoW Blood Elf, which was my second MMO. I literally just like the name Kayla but it was taken so I kept altering the spelling until it worked.

Tae is taken from my XI Mithra, which was my first MMO. It's short for Taeyu, everyone called me Tae. My friend came up with it for me, he asked me to name a few of my favorite characters and he mashed the names together and Taeyu was the one I liked the most.

I quite like how Kaelah Tae has a kinda tribal sound to it, suited Miqo'te I thought. Wasn't a fan of the Sunseeker lore so I decided to go against it. I can just pretend my character was raised outside of it all I guess. (I'm not much of an RP anyways.)

I had multiple names, but I'll go about my name now.

Shikaree is based on the sin hunters of XI. Shikaree X, Y, Z and a few others. They were Mithras who purged sins. So they were essentially sin hunters.

K'Hellfire was actually what my character was originally named. Kikoku Hellfire. The names are also XI related to my relic Kikoku (NIN) in XI, and the Hellfire (based on the canon shell killer for Ranger) I had in XI.

Easier to add a ' than to try making Shikaree Kikoku'Hellf (and run out of letters).
