Mine is read as 'Bacent Rekkes (Wrecks)....the minds of those around him'.
An hour doesn't go by every time I make someone groan from my bad jokes/puns, most of it focused at my Fiance~

My original name was Auron Nightwing. Not very clever, but it's my favorite FF character and my favorite DC hero. But then my friends started calling me Auron Vale because of my rare love of Aurum Vale. Couldn't pass up the opportunity to make it my permanent name. Never going back!![]()
This is awesomeSo many interesting and fun stories and thoughts behind all the names.
It's great!
I really like the evolution of your name.In the end I returned to Miqo'te. but decided to play as Keeper of the Moon because their lore is better. Since I love my first name, I saved it, but changed to Naur'a (which means that my character is 1st, oldest, son of Naur) and took last name from lore which sounding I liked the most. That's how Naur'a Moui was born in terms of his name. xD
Your name's backround is awesome
And ROUTA says "Hi!" to TARHAI'm Finnish too, TARHA says "Hi!" to ROUTA.
In the Finnish language Miko is a male name, so I can even swap genders with fantasia and not go 100% awkward.
Yaong is Korean for 'meow', this toon was originally a cat girl.
So basically Miko Meow.
As an extra bonus Miko Yaong looks almost like the 15 in a dozen weeaboo names you run into everywhere. I prefer to keep a low profile and not stick out, so that's a good thing, kinda.I thought you might be a Finnish FC when I saw your FC name on someone once! You've got a cool name as well
I understand the low profile part, it really didn't occur to me at all (for some strange reason) when I made my character and the first time someone shouted "Terve!" to me, I was a little confused
Silly, I know.
I heartily agree with this reasoning
I understand your feelings. I thought about making this post a good while since it is personal stuff, but in the end I thought that nobody has to answer my (possibly intrusive) questions so I made the post. And I'm glad you chose to answer, all of your names have so interesting backgrounds (yes, I read them all)
Suits well with the Keepers I thinkWell my cat's name is Kissa so I decided to use that lol
Kotele is just a rough translation of kitty that sort of fits naming conventions of Keepers but not Seekers which I didn't know at the time but it sounded so nice so I stuck with it. Nothing special really but looks good!Is it just a coincidence that your cat's name is Kissa? Or did you choose it on purpose, since kissa is a cat in Finnish?

I have been using Atlas for a very long time named after the Mech from Mechwarrior/Battletech. Pretty much all my usernames since I was a kid have been Atlas. If I am naming a character I'll use Atlas for males and Atlyss for female characters. I don't think I will ever change this in any game.
The Sol name was just something I thought up recently cause it sounded cool. Not many games had last names so this actually started in FF14.
Aoi is the japanese word for blue. My favorite colour
Fukuhara was just my first thought which came to me.
I am very much into astrology, so I decided to name my character after a constellation that reflects my character's duality. Her feminine nature is represented by our healers, especially WHM. Nurturing, a pacifist, in tune with the elements, aspires to be beautiful and kind towards others. She is the light. Her masculine nature is represented by our tanks, especially DRK. Aggressive, a provider, a builder, enjoys combat and aspires to deliver steel justice to the corrupt. He is the dark. Since I ultimately decided to go with a female avatar I suffixed her name with an 'a' instead of an 'i', and named her Gemina.
Her surname is total lore-based, but not original. I won't get into the lore here, but those interested can read my blog here: https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodes.../blog/4021281/
The really short version is it was given to her by her adoptive father and Hraesvelgr upon discovering that Lunarian blood runs through her veins. As most people know, Luna is Latin for the celestial body we know as the moon. Lunarians are humanoids that play a integral role in my favorite Final Fantasy game to this day: FFIV
I named my main character after my dog, Cupcake. I spent a week or so trying to come up with a first name. "Sprinkles" just seemed to flow the best, so I went with that. It was never my intention to name myself after the cupcakery...
Aria - From the manga "Aria" by Amano Kozue.
Fairchild - From the now defunct Fairchild Republic, the manufacturer of A-10 Thunderbolt.
Don't ask me how my brain combined these two completely opposite things: the peaceful utopia of Aria, and a weapon platform that mounts a rotary cannon capable of firing ~4000 rounds of depleted uraniumgoodnessshells per minute.
My bf invited me to the game, his character is a sea wolf Roe with Blue in his name, so I thought let's create a Red hellsguard. Rider came in because I wanted the second word to also start with R, also because I like Iskandar from the Fate/Zero anime, so Red Rider it was....apparently is also a song because I've had a few people throwing out references I'm completely oblivious to lol
My rl name.
