Girls outfit is nice but I don't really like shants. (Shants: Too short to be pants, too long to be shorts. Is there an official word for it?)

Those are not only shorts, they are what I would call "short-shorts" xD. Nearly the entire thigh is exposed, and there is no way you can touch your toes in those without exposing more than what's appropriate.

They are knickerbockers, I think. In my language we say 'nikkers', which is not the same as the british 'knickers'. Though capris shorts as others said might fit as well, probably.

Not sure what you consider shorts. Those are what I would call the short side of average shorts.

Lol I was thinking this too. If that's too long to be shorts then that means 'if we don't see the booty then they can't really be called shorts'!!! haha. Am male so perhaps some stereotypical size differences of course but like my shorts are annoying if they're not at least near to my kneecaps, any less and I might as well just run around in my undies.

(Just to be clear in general I'm not arguing for or against short shorts, just thought it was funny and agreed with you that those were not considered shorts).

That makes more sense haha. I'd call them pants though, since the stretchy part at the cuff of the pant still goes pretty close to the ankles but I can get behind the idea those are either very short pants or very long shorts. Haha

Only reason why I thought it was the girls outfit is because the last object they reference is the girls outfit before talking about them being shants.

Ok, makes more sense. Like somebody pointed out in the US (maybe most of the western world?) those are often considered "capris".

Finally more glamour! I prefer the events with glamour over the ones without, and this is just perfect!

Just coming in to say that I'm happy about finally having some glamour as an event reward, and a nice looking one too. Thanks, SE I hope that we can get more of those, as it was getting very disappointing lately when compared to old events.

Also, the egg pile is... I'll find a use for that, haha.

I get that indoor housing items are more accessible to all players due to apartment and FC room access, but would it kill them to toss an outdoor item every once in a while? Also, do we need so many consumable decorations? I do like the items we are getting, but they do seem to go overboard with the consumables for these events. Just because it's a food display doesn't mean you have to make it a usable, consumable item as well.
