Heals don't scale that well anyway, so yes. Do YOU, however, expect random people to be nice to other random people that call them names and insult them?

It's not the gear, it's the player that couldn't heal. Healers already have ridiculous numbers when it comes to heals. Unless the tank is a monkey that doesn't press its defensive CDs.

Next, I agree with the person you're replying to, along with many others on this thread, the healer and their friend were absolutely rude to the tank. Yes, the tank may have been wrong, but that went out the window the second they started insulting the tank. Two wrongs don't make a right and as such, OP and their friend were in the wrong. All those two had to do is ask the tank nicely to slow down instead of calling them "brain-dead tin can" and just say something along the lines of a "please slow down because healer can't handle it".

When I tank and someone is rude because they don't like how I tank I either vote kicked them or leave (idc about the penalty, I'll just wait it out, do something else, and requeue for another dungeon, more likely I'll find another before those even find a replacement tank or another dungeon). It's a natural reaction. However, if they ask nicely, I'll gauge (or ask them) where the trouble is and adjust accordingly. I'll split pulls or play more defensively. 9/10 times these people are asking for ridiculous things though.

Here's a story, I was tanking Kugane Castle when it was the highest dungeon at the time, and this healer and his couple friends kept asking me to use shield (scheld because they were german) oath even on bosses. Funny thing is, they all died to the one random mechanic of killing the suicide bomb adds and their AoE and I just killed the first boss completely solo. They STILL blamed me for not using shield oath. I must be very toxic for not listening. After I killed the boss on my own, I got kicked out of the party. Joke's on them in the end. So yeah.
